Jink Willis Art

I paint the places that stay with me—old barns, open fields, quiet houses, distant horizons, and landscapes remembered as much as seen.

Working primarily in acrylic, I simplify the landscape to its essential shapes and let color carry much of the emotion. I am drawn to unexpected combinations—turquoise skies, strong greens, deep blues, warm reds, and passages of light—that allow a familiar Southern scene to become something more contemporary and sometimes almost abstract.
