Daniel Trelenberg is an artist based in Austin, Texas. His Western hieroglyphic and abstract works are rooted in his deep respect for nature and animals. His inspiration is drawn from being in touch with the natural world. Daniel has surrounded his studio with native plants and often shares seeds from his garden with art admirers and art collectors based in Texas.

History has always interested him, and he often finds himself researching artifacts from the past. His works are an ode to ancient civilizations and their respect for nature.

Daniel currently teaches art classes at Austin's SoHo house, curates a Gallery at The Line Hotel, and runs a community art gallery called Day and Night Gallery.

He focuses on low-impact art-making methods, such as thrift shopping for his canvases and supplies. He is constantly finding new ways to reduce his environmental impact.
