Sleep has become the hot topic of the day as seen last week on Megyn Kelly TODAY with sleep expert Dr. Carol Ash and Michael Breus, who joined Megyn Kelly to answer your biggest questions about sleeping.
We have our very own sleep expert, Pandora de Balthazár, one of The Arbors’ original dealers that started with us twenty years ago, sharing about her mission of giving us better sleep and more!
GIVING MORE THAN THE GIFT OF BETTER SLEEP
We are often told how truly beautiful our products are, particularly when our European Sleep System (ESS) is intermingled with our antique textiles or our Italian sheets and pillow cases ornamented with beautifully designed and realized custom monogramming. But we also realize that people who have noticed our products at High Point Market and Round Top don’t realize there’s a wellness aspect to the architecture of the building blocks that make up our ESS. We would like to change that.
If you’ve passed by our stand at High Point or strolled through our tent at Round Top, you’ve likely noticed us “putting people to bed.” There is a purpose to this beyond giving everyone a bit of a break from hours on their feet during the events; we are giving them the personal experience of feeling the difference our bedding makes. So many studies have been done about how restful sleep increases creativity and productivity. It has been proven that long stretches of uninterrupted deep sleep are necessary for well-being and weight loss, and we take all research relating to sleep so seriously.
If you have passed us by at one of the shows because you feel it would take too long to learn about how beneficial our ESS can be, we urge you to consider that sleep is so worth the investment. It strikes us as peculiar that someone will spend hours each week exercising and never feel the effort is too time-consuming for the rewards while the same person doesn’t consider putting the time in to learn about how to improve their sleep is worthwhile. We certainly understand the elation of endorphins but we want to make the point that we have seen a similar uptick in quality of life come from our customers who sleep on our ESS and Timeless Bed products.

The very foundation of our company was established with the intention of changing lives, as our founder Pandora de Balthazár experienced firsthand how beautifully healing our down products can be. From the time she launched our brand, she has dedicated her career to helping others understand that recovering from either physical or emotional trauma is aided by the comfort we sell. It’s a proven fact that if you are not healthy and happy, you cannot bring happiness into the lives of others. We want to change this for as many people in the world as we can reach, giving back to others so that we all create a circle of positive energy to flow around us: it takes all of us to make a difference, after all!
